In 2011 I have watched 203 films, including 17 at the cinema.

Errrr, okay…
- Shutter Island and The Book of Eli, both of which I have seen, were released in the UK in 2010. (Coincidently when I did a similar post for my favourite films of 2010, Shutter Island was in my top 3.)
- I haven’t seen Contagion, No Strings Attached or Ides of March. (There’s a whole list of 2011 films that are supposedly amazing that I really want to see but haven’t yet, including Drive, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Sherlock Holmes 2, and so on.)
- And finally and most importantly, the title of the post was MY favourite films of 2011.

So a year ago yesterday I started listing what films I watch, and since then I have a watched…..*drumroll*…..225 in total. An average of 4.3 films a week and just over half a film a day.
Quite proud of that, to say I’ve also finished a degree and maintained a job and a social life alongside.
There’s some of my all time favourites that I’ve re-watched (Braveheart, Forrest Gump), some that I’ve seen at the cinema and absolutely loved (127 Hours, Harry Potter), and inevitably, some stinkers that I wish I could taking the running time back of. The majority I’ve watched alone (forever alone!), some I’ve seen at the cinema with friends, some I’ve watched at home with friends, and some I’ve watched with the girlfriend.
